I can't connect X (Twitter)

If you see the error “The Request Token for This Page Is Invalid” when connecting X, the authentication token is no longer valid.

Why it happens

X uses authentication tokens to verify the connection request. These tokens can become invalid in a few common situations:

• Token expiry: the connection process took too long.

• Interrupted connection: the process was stopped before completion.

• Token reuse: the same token was used again.

How to fix it

1. Open a new tab in incognito mode, or try a different browser.

2. Log in to the platform and open the connections dashboard.

3. Click Connect Account for X.

4. Enter your X account credentials and complete the process.

Due to changes in the X API, you may need to accept both authorization prompts to finish the connection.
