How to schedule a post with a poll
Polls on X (formerly Twitter) are a great way to drive engagement, collect feedback, or start conversations with your audience. With Metricool, you can schedule them to go live automatically at the date and time you choose.

Follow these steps to create and schedule a post with a poll:
Go to the Planning section and click on Create post or select a time directly from the calendar.
Choose X (Twitter) as the social network, then select Poll from the format dropdown.
Add your question in the copy and fill in the poll fields:
Enter two to four answer options
Set the duration (in hours or days)
Just below, choose who can reply to your post:
Everyone
Only subscribers
People you follow
Only people mentioned
Verified accounts only
Set the date and time, then click Schedule.
✅ Done! Your poll will be scheduled and published on X at the selected time and date. All that’s left is to wait for the results.
💡 Tip: Check the preview before scheduling to make sure everything looks good.
