I can't connect my LinkedIn account
If you are having trouble connecting your LinkedIn account, check the points below based on the type of account you want to connect.
Company Pages
If you're trying to connect a company page and it doesn't appear in the list or you only see your personal profile, it's very likely that you don't have the required permissions.
Required permissions
To connect a company page, you must have Super Admin permissions, either:
From your personal LinkedIn profile
Or through the LinkedIn Business Manager
The Content Admin role does not work for connecting.
Where to check
👉 If you manage the page from your personal profile, you can review your role here:
Me menu (top right) > click the company name > Settings > Manage admins
👉 If you manage the page through Business Manager, the permission is not shown from your profile, but it is still valid as long as your user is correctly linked.
To check it:
Go to the LinkedIn Business Manager.
Select your Business Manager account.
In the left menu, click Pages.
Review the list of managed pages.
Click the page you want to connect.
Open the People tab.
Make sure your profile appears under Page roles as a Super Admin.
Confirm your profile is active, not pending or inactive.
Personal and Content Creator Profiles
To connect personal profiles and profiles with content creator mode enabled, the platform needs the account identifiers. If you connect your LinkedIn account in the same browser session, your profile should be detected automatically.
Analytics are not available for these profile types, but you can still schedule content.
Permission renewal
If you have the right permissions but cannot connect, or the account disconnects right after connection, renew your permissions:
Open Permitted Services.
Remove the app.
Reconnect your LinkedIn account from the connections dashboard.
You need Super Administrator permissions for the page in LinkedIn. Other permission levels will not work for the connection.
